One of the major benefits of using 3D modelling software is that you can view the model you have created from various view points, you can also change textures, colours, lighting in fact any aspect can be changed.

If you look carefully you will notice various differences between this image and the previous one, styles of clothes etc, in fact image one represents the nineteen thirties, whereas image two is the early sixties.
To do this using conventional methods would take weeks and would end up being a drudge and would be expressed in the artwork, so using modern technology an artist can try various scenarios within a viable window of time.

My work as often been criticised as not being art by the Luddites, but if art is to progress it must I feel embrace modern technology, the computer will never fully replace the camera, as the camera never fully replaced the oil painting...
